Innovative Programs in Education Package
At no time in our nation's history has the need been greater for a skilled workforce across many industries in order to stay competitive in an increasingly global and technological marketplace. In recognition of that need, Stillwater Area Public Schools, in association with professionals from post-secondary schools, local precision manufacturing businesses, and workforce/economic development, have implemented these two innovative programs. Package contains items needed to replicate these successful programs:

• Manual - Build effective collaborations to implement these programs by following the pathway outlined in this manual including program goals and elements, organizations and roles, resources, evaluations and recommendations.
• Robotics Academy Curriculum - Assure the success of your Robotics Academy through use of the scope and sequence curriculum which features three levels of instruction to appeal to grades 8-12. Curriculum includes specific activities engaging students in team building; designing, building and refining a robot; introducing students to manufacturing careers; and, applying math and science concepts.
• DVD - Promote the development of these innovative programs in your area using the DVD which contains an Overview, Robotics Academy video, Precision Manufacturing Career Exploration program video and endorsements.
• Forms - Save time and energy by customizing the forms needed to replicate these programs. Both paper and electronic version on a CD are included in this package.
